let's begin

I wrote a whole thing and then I forgot to save it. It's like I never left.

Because it was a blog post, it was a way too long-winded mission statement about actually using this blog for something. Also I said the word blog twice in the year 2015. But this site has to be about something and it largely seems to be about writing, so I'm gonna write about writing. Probably not much else, but considering that hardly anyone will be reading this, I'll consider this a monologue to myself, another place to keep my fingers moving when the idea train isn't just stalled, but tipped over, on fire and leaking chemicals into the groundwater.

And as I already wasted a bunch of time spelling out everything I'm trying to get done this weekend and still haven't accomplished, I'll get back to doing those things instead of this thing.

But I will use this thing.
